David gained his honours degree at Keele University in 1999 and achieved his Masters degree in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy from King’s College London in 2008. He is an active member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) , a qualified injection therapist and practices acupuncture as a member of the Acupuncture Association of chartered physiotherapists (AACP).
David set up a successful private practice, Park Physio, in Horsham in 2008, working closely with the local GPs at Park Surgery, Albion Way, Horsham. David then teamed up with Flex in 2016 to help shape expand and grow the business. David has stopped offering private clinics with Flex for the time being to continue focus in researching non-surgical options for knee arthritis (unloader bracing) and is undertaking his independent prescribing training.
David has been an external lecturer and examiner on the MSc Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy course at King’s College London and has provided external training courses for many years. He has presented his research findings on nerve mechanics nationally and has a special interest in Peripheral neuropathic pain.
David currently works alongside Kieran and Matt for Sussex MSK Partnership as an Advanced Physio Practitioner offering specialist assessment and treatment for complex musculoskeletal conditions and is able to directly list certain patients for orthopaedic surgery.
David lives in Horsham with his wife and 2 children and enjoys, scuba diving, cycling and snooker.
